About us
The LatinoProsperity story
LatinoProsperity is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the Latino wealth gap through national, state, and local advocacy. Our core strategy focuses on advocacy for equitable policies that empower Latinos to build and sustain wealth. We bring together leaders from diverse sectors, conduct research to inform our policy recommendations, and advocate for their adoption and implementation. Our efforts are rooted in the lived experiences of Latino community members and enriched by insights from academics, community organizations, government, and business leaders.
While our work is grounded in the lived experiences of Latino communities, the fastest-growing segment of the American workforce and economy. Economic exclusion rarely operates in isolation. When we identify gaps in access to mortgage lending, structural barriers to small business formation, or policy failures in savings infrastructure, we are exposing systemic problems that constrain economic mobility for millions of Americans. Latino communities offer a powerful lens precisely because they sit at the intersection of multiple economic, demographic, and policy pressures. And because of their rapid growth, solving for Latino prosperity is increasingly solving for American prosperity. The policies we champion are not Latino- specific remedies. They are universal solutions discovered through a Latino lens.
